The Baltimore Ravens signed running back Derrick Henry on the second day of NFL free agency, pairing up the decorated rusher with quarterback Lamar Jackson. The two are expected to wreak havoc on opposing defenses this season, especially with their different skills sets.
Despite Henry being in Baltimore now, there were rumors swirling that he could have been dealt to the Ravens last season at the trade deadline. On Tuesday, Tennessee Titans general manager Ran Carthon denied those rumors, saying there was no agreement in place with the Ravens or any other team for the star running back.

It’s unlikely that Carthon would have outright admitted that Henry was on his way out last season, even with speculation running rampant. What’s done is done, and Henry is looking forward to an exciting first year in Baltimore in 2024.
