We knew the Tennessee Titans would have competition for the services of veteran free-agent wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, and one suitor has emerged.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hopkins will visit the New England Patriots next week after his Sunday visit with the Titans.
The Pats need wide receiver help about as bad as the Titans, and D-Hop has a connection with New England after playing under offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien while he was the head coach of the Houston Texans.
I’m not sure if knowing BOB is a good or bad thing, but I digress…
“DeAndre is somebody we’ll bring in… and go through the same visit we go through with everybody, and then start the process,” Titans head coach Mike Vrabel said of Tennessee’s impending meeting with Hopkins.

The expectation is that Hopkins will meet with more teams than just the Titans and Pats, so look for other suitors to emerge in the days and week ahead.
