Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Rob Moore is reportedly in the running for two different jobs.
According to Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, Moore is a candidate for the wide receivers coach jobs of the Chicago Bears and New York Jets.
The Titans have reportedly parted ways with multiple coaches from former head coach Mike Vrabel’s staff, but Moore was not specifically mentioned among those let go, so it isn’t clear if he’s still officially employed.
However, the fact that he’s a candidate elsewhere would suggest he’s not going to be retained.
Moore served as Tennessee’s wide receivers coach for the entirety of former head coach Mike Vrabel’s tenure. Before that, he was a wide receivers coach with the Buffalo Bills and then-Oakland Raiders.
If Moore lands in New York, he’ll see some familiar faces, as former Titans coaches Keith Carter and Todd Downing are the Jets’ offensive line coach and pass-game coordinator, respectively.
