After going eight consecutive seasons without a single playoff berth from 2009 through 2016, the Tennessee Titans have become somewhat of a consistent postseason contender ever since.
Over the last six years, the Titans have made the playoffs a total of four times, two of which came following a division title, and one of those campaigns saw Tennessee land the No. 1 seed.
The results of those postseason trips? Three victories and a trip to the AFC Championship Game in 2019.
Even in the two years that didn’t result in playoff berths (2018, 2022), the team still found itself in a playoff play-in game in the final week of the regular season.
Unfortunately, despite their constant relevance within the AFC South and NFL playoff picture, the Titans are in a bit of a dry spell when it comes to winning in January.
The Titans haven’t won a playoff game since their trip to the conference title game at the end of the 2019 campaign, making it three years without a postseason win.
Despite the three-year drought, that stretch is actually among the shortest in the league at the moment, according to Warren Sharp of Sharp Football Analysis.
In fact, only six teams in the NFL have a shorter span without a playoff win, a group that includes the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.
Tennessee is tied with the Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks.

If the Titans are going to end the streak at three years, they must find a way to stay healthy, first and foremost. Otherwise, the best they can hope for is another one-and-done trip to the playoffs.
