And then there were two: the Tennessee Titans agreed to terms with 2022 fourth-round pick and tight end, Chigoziem Okonkwo, on Monday, the team announced.
Okonkwo is the seventh Titans 2022 NFL draft pick to agree to terms on his rookie contract, which will be four years in length. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The other six picks to agree to terms include wide receivers Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips, offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, running back Hassan Haskins, defensive back Theo Jackson and linebacker Chance Campbell.
The two remaining unsigned draft picks are quarterback Malik Willis and cornerback Roger McCreary.
Okonkwo is one of three tight ends who figure to be roster locks in 2022, along with starter Austin Hooper and fellow backup Geoff Swaim.
Assuming the Titans keep four tight ends, those competing for the final spot on the depth chart include Tommy Hudson, Ryan Izzo, Briley Moore and Thomas Odukoya.
