It’s no secret that the Tennessee Titans are a banged-up football team. Especially at the inside linebacker position, where the team has been ravaged by injuries over the past few weeks.
Starter Kenneth Murray Jr. attempted to play through his hamstring injury in Week 16 but struggled, leaving the team short on depth. With Luke Gifford in concussion protocol and Otis Reese battling an ankle injury, the Titans are left with veteran Jerome Baker and rookies Cedric Gray and James Williams as healthy bodies.
This does not bode well for the defense, as Baker has been a disappointment since being acquired, and while talented, Gray and Williams are inexperienced and are not consistent. This situation led the Titans to add some depth to the position.

No official, the Titans have signed veteran linebacker Raekwon McMillan to the practice squad. A former second-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in the 2017 NFL draft, McMillan played with three teams before joining the Titans.
He was most recently with the New England Patriots before being released earlier in 2024. With the Patriots, McMillan appeared in nine games for the Patriots and made four starts, recording 45 tackles and a pass defensed.
McMillan could be thrust into action early due to injury issues. Will it be Week 17? Everyone will find out when the Titans travel to EverBank Stadium to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in AFC South action on Sunday.
