The moment of truth is finally here, as the NFL will kick off free agency this week, and we should get a better idea of where the Tennessee Titans stand as far as whether or not they’re rebuilding or retooling.
The start of the legal tampering period will begin on Monday at noon ET, when teams and pending free agents can begin negotiating contracts.
Of course, many discussions have already taken place ahead of time, so that’s why you’ll see signings start coming in immediately once noon hits.
However, players can not officially sign on the dotted line until Wednesday, March 15, the start of the new league year and official start of free agency. That’s why you’ll see terms like “agreed to terms” instead of “signed.”

Titans signing LB Luke Gifford
LB Luke Gifford has agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $5 million with the Tennessee Titans, according a source. Gifford led the Cowboys in special teams tackles in ‘22 and coaches believed he could handle larger role on defense.

Titans quiet so far
We’re three hours into (at a little after 3 p.m. ET) the unofficial start of free agency and the Titans haven’t agreed to terms or been linked with any free agent out there.
Adding to that, some of the top tackles in free agency have come off the board, but left tackle Orland Brown Jr. is still available and will not re-sign with KC, per reports.
