More than a century after the RMS Titanic disappeared beneath the icy waters of the North Atlantic, one of the ship's rarest surviving artefacts has captured global attention once again. A 114-year-old lifejacket worn by Titanic survivor Laura Mabel Francatelli has sold at auction for an astonishing £670,000 (around $900,715 including fees), which is more than double its estimated value, according to a report in Times of India.
