Viewers were left in stitches after a contestant on Tipping Point said that a former Labour party deputy leader was Agatha Christie.
Ben Shephard asked Dave, the contestant "'Downsizing, How I Lost 8 Stone, Reversed My Diabetes And Regained My Health' is a book by which former deputy leader of the Labour party?"
Dave looked confused, and answered "The only name that's come into my head, and I don't know why, is Agatha Christie and I don't even know if she's in politics".
Presenter Ben Shephard could soon be seen trying not to laugh at the response, but questioned the contestant.

"Right, so, just, we're looking for the deputy leader of the Labour party" he laughed, pulling himself to together.
"A name's popped into your head, a random name, Agatha Christie".
"Yeah" Dave responded "I don't know why".
"You don't know what Agatha Christie is, what she did, but you think maybe, she was the deputy leader of the Labour party" Ben said, again trying to stifle his laugher.
Unsurprisingly, Dave had got the question wrong, as the answer was revealed to be Tom Watson, who served as Labour party deputy leader from 2015 to 2019.
Shepherd then explained to Dave that Agatha Christie was a crime writer.
"She wrote Miss Marple, Poirot" he explained.
Dave kept his arms crossed in confusion, saying "I don't even know how I know her name".
Fans of the show were quick to jump to Twitter to express their amusement at Dave's answer.
Jenny Powell said "Agatha Christie...funniest thing I've heard today! Outdone"
@ItalianSteff on Twitter asked "How did these two pass the pre-screening?".
@lozd491 joked saying "I saw Agatha Christie having a drink with Boris at no. 10"
Agatha Christie was unable to confirm whether she attended any parties.
