Tiny puppy dumped in woods in a rucksack now safe and getting stronger every day

A tiny puppy who was "dumped in a rucksack" in Berkshire woods is now safe with the RSPCA, after witnesses saw a man abandon him and run off.

It's suspected the chocolate cockapoo was neglected due to health problems, as he "seemed unable to use his back legs".

The RSPCA is appealing for information about the eight-week-old puppy - now named Watson - and the person who deserted him in Finchampstead Woods.
