Two “frightened and cold” puppies have been found dumped in a hedge at a Welsh country park. The tiny five-week old terriers were discovered by a member of the public near the entrance to Llyn Llech Owain Country Park in Carmarthenshire.
The man who found them noticed a plastic carrier bag in a hedge and could hear the sound of puppies crying. Horrified at what he found inside the bag, he took the pups to a nearby vet and called the RSPCA. The animal charity is now asking anyone with information about how the dogs came to be dumped by the side of the road outside the country park - which is located in Gorslas, near Cross Hands - to come forward.
