Tiny hamlet named England's first 'dark sky' community...and it's only an hour from London

England’s first dark sky community is just an hour away from London, and a perfect place to enjoy sights of the Milky Way and our galaxy.

Thorington Street in Suffolk’s Dedham Vale has been identified as the country’s first dark sky community by DarkSky International, an organisation trying to preserve the darkness of our night skies.
