Tina Turner has died at the age of 83, as tributes pour in from heartbroken stars and fans across the world.
The music icon died at her home in Switzerland after battling a long illness, with a family statement, announcing her death reading: "With her, the world loses a music legend and a role model."
A private funeral ceremony will be held for close friends and family.
Tina is of course the star who has had an amazing career that has spanned the decades, with anthemic hits like Proud Mary, Simply The Best, Private Dancer and What's Love Got To Do With It.

Star of 80s smash hit film Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, which her epic power ballad We Don't Need Another Hero is the soundtrack to, Tina last toured the UK in 2009, with fans rushing to see her in venues across the country.
She was also the subject of candid and emotional documentary Tina in 2021, which won acclaim from critics and music lovers alike and also inspired hit West End musical Tina.
Among the celebs quick to pay tribute to Tina was Never Gonna Give You Up singer Rick Astley who tweeted: "What a woman, what a life, what a voice! One of the GREATS! Such sad news," with Blue's Antony Costa writing: "R.I.P #Tinaturner ..what a voice …what a legend"
