Tina Malone has revealed she lost 12 stone after overhauling her lifestyle over the past few years.
The Shameless star, 60, was branded "unrecognisable" as she appeared on Good Morning Britain to take part in a fiery debate.
The Mimi Maguire Channel 4 actress was on the show to discuss the sale of late-night kebabs and if they contribute to the obesity crisis.
Tina explained: "As somebody who has always struggled with my weight having lost 12 stone and it's difficult in the current times we live in, the challenging times we live in.
"We all tend to look for different crutches.
"I think I am more likely to go in and get a sausage roll and the pasties - everything in moderation - if it's at the end of my road and its open at 12 at night.
"It's like everything - I'm 25 years sober, 10 years drug free but if you have an addictive personality, if something is tempting you the more likely you are, especially in these difficult times."
Fans were quick to gush over Tina's new look as one fan said: "Wow I didn’t recognise Tina Malone! She looks incredible."
However some joked the debate had the opposite effect as another added: "Now I want a Kebab. Talk about temptations."
Tina was debating with a kebab shop owner who was eager to stress how healthy the snacks can be.
He told how the word kebab was simply a word to describe a cooking method, which means cooking over an open flame.
Tina is best known for playing Mimi in the British sitcom from 2005 until 2013.
Her character was the brash, foul-mouthed, and violent matriarch of the Maguire family.
A decade on from playing the role, Tina says she now looks 40 years old after she quit drinking booze.
"I’m so proud of being 60, it’s a ripe old age and I look 40!" she explained following her birthday at the end of January this year.
"People always say ‘you can’t be 60,’ I love telling people. I feel the best I ever have – and I think I probably feel the sexiest I have in my life too."
She added to Closer that her 'age is a privilege' and got a new perspective on her life after attending many funerals in the last few years.
"I’m going to visit a different country every single month this year," she continued.
"In January I went to Spain, February is Rome. I also want to go to Poland, Holland and LA."
After Shameless came to an end, Tina went on to star in the prison drama Clink, and even enjoyed a stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2009.
Tina hit the headlines when she had a reported £50,000 makeover, including a tummy tuck and facelift after she lost 12 stone.
The star had a gastric band fitted, and she went under the knife to complete her full-body makeover.
