Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan was one of the first film Bollywood actors to make his foray on the small screen and turn host with Kaun Banega Crorepati in 2000. But not many would remember that his wife and veteran actress Jaya Bachchan didn't approve of Big B's decision and she never wanted him to host the quiz show KBC.
In an interview given to her close friends and ace designers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla way back in 2008, Jaya Bachchan had spoken about how she never wanted her husband and megastar Amitabh Bachchan to host the quiz. She had shared then, “Can you imagine I never wanted him to do it? Somehow felt that it was somewhere not correct to shrink him into the small screen.”
