It was Nine’s night thanks to the reworked Getaway (aka Travel Guides) which seemed to miss out on the delays at Sydney Airport. But as the program was made eons ago what would you expect? The ratings show a pent-up desire for a return to travel, though I doubt Nine will have the guts to put together a Travel Guides COVID special — bargain destinations of where to catch it, the cost of being treated and travelling home, and bed costs in hospitals your travel insurance won’t cover.
Hard Quiz drew 824,000. Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell was in fine form too. That was the night. Tonight it’s AFL and NRL as well as Q+A = tedium. Tonight is repeated for the next four days and nights of the break. No wonder we are driven to eggs and buns.
