Tim Robbins has officially said goodbye to Apple TV's Silo, but the Oscar-winning actor is not retreating from public life. As his character's journey ends, Robbins is launching a sprawling digital project that opens decades of his personal and artistic archives to the public, while using Bernard Holland's fate to issue a pointed warning about leaders who promise protection while consolidating power.
Bernard died in Episode 9 of Silo's third season after sacrificing himself to give Juliette Nichols, played by Rebecca Ferguson, and the rebellion another opportunity to challenge the system controlling Silo 18. For Robbins, the decision represented something the calculating former head of IT had rarely displayed.
