A TikTok user was left stunned after his request for a taxi to Denmark was accepted on Uber.
George Clarke, from Bristol, who posts under the username @georgeclarkeey, told how he wanted to test how far he could travel by taking an Uber ride.
His story has gone viral on TikTok after he tried, and succeeded, to book an Uber all the way to Denmark this week, reported BristolLive.
Chatting on a video, the TikToker with more than a million followers, said the thought occurred to him late one night, how far it is possible to take an Uber?
Then plumping for the Scandinavian country at random, George proceeded to request a cab.
Surprisingly a driver, registered in South Gloucestershire, quickly accepted the fare, especially for the many people who struggle and have to wait for a taxi on a typical night out.
It is not clear how the driver planned on getting to Denmark but the proposed route on the app, posted by George, went directly through the North Sea.
Speaking on his video, George said: "It literally took 20 seconds and somebody accepted it... Mixture of emotions, am I off to Denmark? I've not packed!"
He swiftly cancelled the trip, which is probably for the best considering the cost, which is likely to have been astronomical, and the route across the North Sea that the driver planned on taking.
The details of the driver's car have been changed to include a registration which would definitely not be approved by the DVLA, and the driver's profile picture has also been switched, to one of Vin Diesel.
George has built up a following on TikTok with videos that include him putting together Ikea furniture in his new bedroom, and a Too Good to Go Haul from Parsons Bakery.
