TikToker hailed 'genius' for £1 hack to have showers sparkling after every use

When it comes to cleaning our homes, the last thing we want is to be scrubbing away for hours on end only to see dirt still left on surfaces.

Thankfully apps such as TikTok and Facebook are full of useful tips and tricks to help make the dreaded cleaning process easier.

And this is all thanks to cleaning enthusiasts - many of which are avid followers of Mrs Hinch - a well known 'cleaning influencer' who has appeared on the likes of ITV's This Morning.

Taking to TikTok, the cleaner thanked self-confessed "queen of cleaning" @VanesaAmaro for sharing the "amazing cleaning hack."

And it seems others love the helpful tip too with the video having received over two million views, 110k likes, almost 400 comments and almost six thousand likes.

Talking during her voice-over, Alyssa, or @alyssascleaningcompany on TikTok said: "If you guys aren't doing this shower cleaning hack, you're missing out.

"Take one of these dish wands and put in dish soap and vinegar and leave it in your shower.

"When you have your [hair] conditioner in or face mask, use it to scrub down your shower and your glass doors.

"Rinse it off - it literally takes one minute then at the end of your shower take a squeegee and squeegee your walls and glass doors.

"This will help prevent hard water and soap scrum so you won't have to deep clean your shower all the time."

Taking to the comment section, many hailed the simple time-saving hack as "genius" with one user saying they've "been doing this for years - it's the best way."

Another asked about the ratio wondering how much they should put in of soap and vinegar to which Alyssa replied "half and half."
