A TikToker's plan to walk 120 miles to deliver flowers to his girlfriend ended abruptly after realizing he had work the next day.

The TikToker, known as Cale with the username @demonkingcale, went viral after announcing his idea to walk from San Diego to Los Angeles as a heartfelt gesture for his girlfriend named Annie.

Claiming prior experience as a marathon runner, he set a goal to walk at least 30 miles per day, fully committing to completing the journey despite its challenges.

The TikToker shared his journey with followers, and documented two days of progress walking at least 47 miles total. However, concerns from his girlfriend, his mother, and his own lack of planning cast doubt on how feasible the walk really was.

On the third day, Cale uploaded a video announcing the cancellation of the rest of the walk. In the video, he admits to underestimating the logistics, also saying he forgot about having to work the following day.

"But now after seeing yesterday and what's to come she does not want me to do it. She thinks I'm going to get injured. And also going through LA is like unsafe which is completely reasonable. And obviously my mom full heartedly agrees and stands by her. It's like they're hosting an intervention for me or something," Cale said.

Ultimately, Cale apologized to his followers for not following through, citing poor timing, lack of preparation, and not wanting to show up injured to a Thanksgiving gathering with Annie's family.

While most followers understood and praised Cale for his efforts, some questioned whether Annie was even real.

"Is Annie real?" one commenter asked, while another said, "Is [A]nnie in the room w us?"

As of now, Cale has not shared any plans to continue the walk at any point.
