TikTok star and social media influencer Miriam Mullins is “in talks” to be a contestant on Dancing With The Stars.
The Cork native is believed to have been approached by RTE bosses to take part in next year’s glitzy show.
The 26-year-old – who moved home from Florida at the start of the pandemic - has amassed almost 2M followers on TikTok and 110K followers on Instagram.

A TV insider said: “Miriam has a huge following online and bosses are confident she’ll draw in a younger audience to the show.”
But a spokesman for RTE declined to comment about whether or not Miriam could be part of next year’s class of 2023.
A rep for Miriam was also contacted by The Irish Daily Star but no response was given about the rumours.
Miriam previously told how she would love to do more TV – and said she would love to do Dancing With The Stars.
She said last month: “I’d absolutely love to do more TV. I love live TV, so I’d love to do something like Dancing with the Stars. You get to learn new skills, you’re learning how to dance, and it’s live TV. So I would love to do that.”
Miriam is a full time influencer, creating content on several social media platforms. She creates comedy sketch videos, vlogs and lifestyle content.
She made her TV debut on the Late Late Show with Ryan Tubridy last year, where she talked about her life as a TikToker.
But last year, Miriam revealed she has received a lot of hate online from trolls.
When Miriam was deciding whether to peruse social media as a full-time job, she considered how lonely and draining it can be because of this.
She talked about doing social media last month and said: "It's lonely, and it can be difficult mentally. I've had a rough couple of weeks the last few weeks with trolls and hate."
"But, I have a thick skin and I'm very honest, and if I do something wrong I'll take accountability. I've never really done anything wrong, but I feel like people try and cancel me over stupid, silly things.
"Sometimes it's really hard for me to deal with because I always have the best intentions at heart."
The news comes after we also revealed former Eurovision hopeful Brooke Scullion could be part of next year’s series.
Derry girl Brooke is lining up TV projects for next year and a source said she could be eyeing up the glitter ball trophy.
