TikTok star Bryce Hall offers to fight former One Direction singer Liam Payne

TikTok star Bryce Hall wants to get back in the boxing ring after losing his debut last summer, and has called out former One Direction singer Liam Payne.

Payne mentioned during an appearance on Logan Paul's Impaulsive podcast that he would like to try his hand at fighting, naming KSI and Justin Bieber as potential opponents. But Hall was suggested as a prospective option by fans on social media, and has decided to run with the suggestion in an effort to get a major money fight.

Hall fought YouTube star Austin McBroom in Miami last summer, and was comprehensively beaten before being stopped in the third round. But he has been pushing to get back to action, calling out British YouTuber Deji and even offering to take on both of the Island Boys in one night.

But Payne, who has sold over 26million records and garnered more than 6billion streams since leaving the boyband in 2015, would be far and away the biggest name Hall could fight. After fans suggested that he square off with the Wolverhampton native, Hall took to Twitter to confirm his interest.

One fan shared an old video showing Tana Mongeau supporting Hall in his last bout, captioning the clip "Me when Liam is set to fight Bryce Hall". The Tik Tok star responded by imploring his followers not to bring back her infamously meme-worthy quote "even the paparazzi on Team Brycre".

He then tweeted his interest in the bout, saying, "F*** it, I'm down to fight Liam Payne", with the singer's former girlfriend Maya Henry showing her support for the social media star on her Tik Tok page. She shared a video where she mimes Mongaeu's infamous quote, to which Hall tagged Payne and replied "so does this mean we have to fight now?"

Hall also made a number of Tik Tok videos about the potential bout, with one showing him declaring that he will walk out to the singer's ex-bandmate Harry Styles' song 'Sign of the Times'. He also declared "I guess this is happening" in a video stitcked with Henry's, and showed off t-shirts that he and pal Josh Richards have made to promote the bout.

"If there is a chance for me to jump in the ring and feel gladiatorial in the 21st century I am in," Payne told Logan Paul during his recent podcast appearance, which drew controversy for his comments about ex-bandmates Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson.

"I love boxing as a sport and I think it's fantastic. I would just enjoy the challenge and the road up to it would be great. Yeah I would fight KSI he would have to come down a few weight slots. But yeah I'd fight him. I like him too much though.

"I will fight whoever you want. But I don't think Justin Bieber would do it. For the same reason I wouldn't fight Trippie Redd, I don't think he is on my level. But if he did want to do it I would."
