TikTok down in worldwide outage causing video app to 'keep crashing'

TikTok is reportedly down.

Millions of users across the world are currently complaining that the video app "keeps crashing" as they try to scroll through the clips. According to DownDetector.co.uk, more than 12,000 reports have been made about TikTok being down.

Users have said that they are being "kicked out" of their accounts, with it forcing them to log in again. Others are reporting not being able to log in at all while others are having issues with video playback.

Twitter has received a huge flood of complaints with the hashtag '#Tiktokdown' trending. Ethan said: "Just now noticed TikTok is acting up #tiktokdown."

Another user said: "So is TikTok not working for anyone else or is my phone tripping???" Meanwhile, Dina said: "Tiktok’s down now I’m panicking , I’m gonna lose my job #tiktokdown."

It is thought that problems began at around 10.15am today, on Thursday, September 15. TikTok has not confirmed the outage or made a public statement about it yet.
