Tik Tok star Francis Bourgeois steals the limelight with scooter tricks at Sam Fender's Wembley gig

North Shields superstar Sam Fender delighted fans by inviting a huge social media star on stage during his Wembley show.

Tik Tok star Francis Bourgeois made a surprising cameo, taking to the stage on a scooter while Fender and his band performed Getting Started from his second studio album, Seventeen Going Under.

And the young train-spotter wowed the crowd as he performed a tailwhip at the side of the stage, before continuing to weave in and out of the band sporting his trademark head cam, showing his POV reaction on the big screens.

Fender then swiped the headcam from Francis and sported it himself mid-song, shortly before the social media star stage dived into the crowd during Fender's hit, Spice.

@Clson tweeted: "Francis Bourgeois hitting a tailwhip whilst Sam Fender belts out one of his tunes at Wembley wasn't what I was expecting of tonight, but I loved it," while @EllieCapocci added: "British culture is Sam Fender playing Wembley Arena whilst Francis Bourgeois does scooter tricks on stage behind him."

@hismirage commented: "Sam Fender putting on Francis Bourgeois GoPro will live in my head rant free," while @Paulson4lyf Tweeted: "Sam Fender bringing out Francis Bourgeois at Wembley tonight and then Francis crowd surfing to Spice felt like the peak of my existence."

Fender and Bourgeois first linked up at the NME Awards last month, when various photos of the Tik Toker and the band emerged online as Sam celebrated winning both Best Album In The World and Best Album By A UK Artist in the same night.

Fender also took home a coveted Brit Award in February, before returning to the Low Lights Tavern in North Shields to celebrate the victory with his home crowd less than 24 hours later, still wearing the same outfit.

Francis made his name online by sharing train-spotting videos online during the Covid-19 pandemic, with some of his videos receiving over 10 million views.

The 20-year-old has 2.3 million followers on Tik Tok alone, with a further 1.5m on Instagram.

Sam Fender is currently embarking on a tour of the UK and Europe, set to play two sold out shows at Newcastle's Utilita Arena tomorrow and Wednesday.
