Tasmania face a massive repair task after their top-order failed early on day two of their Sheffield Shield clash in the face of some smart bowling from Western Australia.
Chasing WA's first innings total of 300, Tasmania were reduced to 5-74 at Bellerive Oval with Jordan Silk unbeaten on eight and Tim Paine 11 not out.
Resuming at 1-5, the Tigers lost nightwatchman Nathan Ellis (three) and opener Tim Ward (17) within the opening half hour to be 3-25.
