Api Koroisau's hopes of winning a State of Origin recall could be at the mercy of the NRL's match review committee after the hooker was sin-binned in Wests Tigers' 33-14 win over Canberra.

Koroisau was sent to the bin by referee Ashley Klein midway through the first half of Thursday's win for an apparent hip-drop tackle on Canberra forward Noah Martin.
