Edinburgh city centre bar opens Japanese garden for afternoon tea and cocktails

A beautiful new Japanese Garden has arrived - at one of the city's most Instagrammable venues.

Four star boutique hotel Tigerlily Edinburgh this week shared video of its stunning new Japan-inspired set-up, which has seen its popular green room transformed and adorned with bright cherry blossom trees and lanterns.

The George Street space has long held a claim to being one of the city's most photogenic locations, but now it's upped the ante by transporting guests to the Far East with its stunning new decor.

Tigerlily have teamed up with the fantastic Suntory Roku Gin to introduce new Japanese cocktails to its guests and have gone all out to create the perfect complementary ambience.

Taking to Instagram to reveal the eyecatching makeover, the Tigerlily team said: "Is there a more perfect spot for Afternoon Tea than our Green Room?

"Indulge in a mouth-watering selection of savoury sandwiches, fresh-baked scones and beautiful sweet treats.

"Make sure and try one of our delicious new @suntory_rokugin cocktails alongside… it would be rude not to."

We're convinced off the pictures alone.
