A tiger has terrorised three towns after escaping a private zoo in Ukraine.
People in Ulic, Slovakia have been warned to limit their time outside after multiple sightings of a prowling tiger.
Slovakian police said they were notified about the rampaging creature by their counterparts in neighbouring Ukraine.
Townspeople are being told to immediately contact police should they see the tiger and to avoid it at all costs.
A national park in the area has laid photo traps - which confirmed the beast had visited three Slovakian towns.
By Monday, Slovakia's Environment Ministry had received no fresh sighting of the animal, according to Republic World.
It's understood the tiger escaped from its private owner in Ukraine before crossing the border over the weekend.
The director of the private facility, Miroslav Bural, told Slovakian media the tiger was transported there due to the Russian invasion.
Earlier this year, a keeper in a private zoo was mauled to death after trying to pet a tiger during its feeding time.
Horrific footage of the attack - filmed in Periban, western Mexico - shows the keeper calling out to the big cat to get over to a chain link fence.
But as he starts to stroke the tiger's neck, the big cat's mood changes and it sinks its claws into the keeper's right hand.
As the keeper - named as Jose de Jesus, 23, screams in agony, the tiger pulls his hand towards its jaws and razor-sharp teeth.
A second gruesome video shows a huge pool of blood on the ground.
De Jesus was rushed to hospital but refused to allow medics to amputate his mauled hand.
