Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is reportedly looking set to return to the club later this year following another tough spell away from the club. The 27-year-old, who is currently mere 12 months into his two year loan spell with the Rossoneri has been barely utilised since the beginning of 2022.
Making just 17 appearances all season, it now seemingly a strong possibility that the former Monaco man will return to England in time for 22/23 campaign. Though whether he will be staying at Stamford Bridge is another matter.
With some confusion initially as to the full details surrounding the loan move, as per Calciomercato.com, via Sempre Milan, a purchase clause will be automatically triggered if he reaches 15 appearances of at least 45 minutes.

However, given the Frenchman has only completed two full appearances for Stefano Pioli's side this season, it looks unlikely he will remain in the Italian captain beyond the summer.
Previously told he must do more, his non-inclusion has seemingly coincided with Milan's up-turn in form. The Rossoneri have now gone on an unbeaten run in Serie A since Bakayoko lost his first-team place in late January.
Suffering more setbacks will leave questions as to where the 27-year-old's future does lay once more, having only made 43 appearances since he originally made the move to west London in 2017.
Perhaps a move closer to home lays in question with former club Monaco. But at present it begs the question as to just whether he fits in Thomas Tuchel's plans heading into the summer months and next season.
