Jeff Beck will play to a sold-out Sage in Gateshead tomorrow evening (June 2), with the last remaining tickets for the show rapidly selling this morning.
The 77-year-old rock and roll star from Wallington will land in the North East tomorrow as part of his widely-renowned tour of the UK with special guest Sharon Corr. However, it was also revealed today that the music icon will be joined on stage for the remainder of his tour by American actor Johnny Depp.
The Kentucky native surprised audience members at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday, turning up to play a number of covers alongside his long-time friend just 24 hours on from his six-week defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard.

The former Pirates of the Caribbean star also went on to join Beck for two nights at London's Royal Albert Hall, before the news broke this morning that the two would be staying on tour together for the rest of the scheduled UK dates in Gateshead, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and York.
And any tickets that remained for the gig at Gateshead's historic Sage venue were sharply swept up by fans of Beck, with the show tomorrow night now completely sold out.
Those who have landed tickets will be able to bare witness to the two perform a number of covers by other famous acts, with the pair playing the likes of Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing and A Day in the Life by The Beatles on the tour so far.
