TICKETS have gone on sale for the screening of a much-anticipated documentary which tells the story of the Scottish independence referendum.
Screenings of To See Ourselves – the brainchild of award-winning director Jane McAllister – will be taking place next month in Glasgow, Dundee, Inverness and Oban.
McAllister captured the footage of the referendum campaign during the summer of 2014, despite having no budget for the film.
While heavily pregnant she followed her father, Yes campaigner Fraser McAllister, as the referendum unfolded in the east coast town of Musselburgh.
To See Ourselves is described as a “hopeful” and “authentic” re-telling of the referendum campaign.
The film will be shown at Glasgow Film Theatre on Tuesday, September 19, at 7.10pm and tickets can be bought here.
If you’re looking to catch a screening DCA Cinema in Dundee, that will be on Tuesday, September 26, at 6pm with tickets available here.
Eden Court in Inverness will show To See Ourselves on Friday, September 22, at 7pm with tickets on sale here.
More information about the Oban event on Friday, September 29, can be found here and people are advised to contact Phoenix Cinema on 01631 562905 if they want tickets.
