Following the introductory press conference for the 2022 draft class, Thunder general manager Sam Presti spoke with the media and said that the team will look to move veteran JaMychal Green elsewhere.
“We’re trying to figure that out. I think we’ll probably find a situation for him that’s not with us but that’s not because we don’t value him as a player,” said Presti. “My hope is we’ll be able to sort that out.”
Green was acquired from the Denver Nuggets in a trade that landed the Thunder a 2027 top-five protected first-round pick. Green opted into his $8.2 million player option recently.
