Thugs hold runner at knife point and steal his Rolex watch at popular park

Two thugs held a runner at knife point before stealing his Rolex watch in a terrifying robbery at a park.

The man was running through a remote area in Sale Water Park in Trafford when the two men approached him, police said. One of them pulled out a knife.

They forced him to take off his Rolex watch before fleeing the scene on mountain bikes. They headed in the direction of Stretford towards Stretford Cemetery.

He was also wearing black tracksuit bottoms with black Nike trainers with an underfoot bubble. His bike was a black and grey mountain bike with front suspension, police said.

The second was described as white, aged around 20 to 30, around 5ft 9in tall and of slight build. He was wearing a dark grey Nike zip up top with a hood, which he was wearing over his head.
