Ring doorbell footage captured a terrifying burglary at a hair salon.
On Monday evening, January 2, two men broke into a Hollie Williams' hair salon in Heswall and were captured kicking down the front door to the salon before gaining entry. The men then stole more than 50 wigs from the salon, which Hollie sells to people going through cancer and other conditions causing hairloss, as well as a large quantity of hair extensions from the salon on Telegraph Road.
A police investigation is now underway into the incident which occured at around 8.50pm, as Hollie was at the gym. Hollie told the ECHO: "They've wiped a lot of business out, but it's more the fact that they're for people experiencing hairloss and cancer.

"They took hair extensions and all the wigs. They're quite valuable and the wigs can be worth from £750 to £1000.
"We found out about 30 minutes after it happened. We have a Ring doorbell but we were in the gym and my our phones were in lockers, so we didn't see it until we left.
"We had over 50 wigs in stock. I've been doing hair extensions for 10 years, and wigs for about three, which I started doing in lockdown."
Hollie, 30 runs her decade-old business by herself, with help from friends. Merseyside Police called the break-in "reprehensible."
Footage shared with the ECHO show the moment of the break-in, as two men kick down the door. Then later one of the men can be seen standing away from the doorbell camera behind a wall as the other leaves and re-enters the property.
Police are currently appealing for anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage that shows anything suspicious at around 9pm in the area (Telegraph Road, Heswall) to get in touch.
Merseyside Police's detective constable Sarah Taylor said: "To target a hard working business in this way is completely reprehensible and we are determined to find those responsible and bring them to justice.
"If you saw or heard anything at around 9pm on Monday 2 December or were passing the Telegraph Road area and captured anything, please come forward."
