A thug has been caught by a family's doorbell camera kicking a snowman built by their nine-year-old daughter into pieces.
The mum and dad from Dudley, assumed the snowman built during this week's wintry conditions had fallen over on its own.
However, when they checked their doorbell camera they saw what had really happened. The footage showed a man getting out of his car, walking onto their garden and kicking the snowman until it fell apart.
The family has been baffled by the man's "weird" behaviour, Birmingham Live reports.
The footage showed him pulling up in his car before crossing the road and sauntering onto the garden.
He then launches a giant kick at the snowman, which is sent toppling backwards.
The man, who appears to be wearing a blue tracksuit, then walks back to his car and drives away.
The kids were left upset when they discovered what had happened to the snowman, particularly as they were hoping to watch it melt.
The snowy remains were still visible on the garden on The Broadway when Black Country Live spoke to the bemused dad, who asked not to be named.
He said: "The wife had a doorbell alert, then we saw what had happened. We couldn't believe it.
"It is weird that it annoyed him so much he had to stop and pull over. I know it's only a snowman but to come up onto someone's garden, it's not on."
He added: "It had started to lean over, the kids were looking forward to it melting."
The mum said the young girl who made the snowman had been left upset by its demise.
She labelled the man's bizarre actions a "mean and horrible" thing to do and insisted she wanted to find out who had done it.
