Thrifty man gives up house to live in tiny eco-home in a stranger's back garden

A man has given up his home to live in an eco-home in a stranger's back garden.

Chris Marsh claims he saves at least £600 a month in bills due to his new way of life.

The 40-year-old has lived in tiny homes on and off for the past five years - and last year created his own miniature wooden house to fit in a back garden on the outskirts of the village of Riding Mill, Northumberland.
