Anthony Gordon’s first-half goal was enough for Newcastle to secure their first win away to Chelsea since May 2012 and put a dent in the Blues’ hope of qualifying for the Champions League.

Chelsea dominated the early stages, but found themselves behind against the run of play as Gordon tapped home after Joe Willock had raced clean through to square for the Newcastle forward.
