Three people have been injured in a stabbing incident on the outskirts of Brisbane, with one of those hurt and another person assisting police with their inquiries.
Emergency crews were called to a property at Redbank Plains in Ipswich, southwest of the Queensland capital shortly before 5pm on Friday.
When police arrived, three people were found with injuries and taken to hospital.
One of the patients was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a serious but stable condition, Queensland Ambulance said.
The other two patients are stable and were taken to Ipswich Hospital.
Two people are assisting police with inquiries, one of whom from among those stabbed.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations are continuing.
Police are calling for anyone with information about what occurred to come forward.
