Plans for five apartments have been submitted to Wirral Council, aiming to "harmonise" with the local area.
The plans, drawn up by If LSF Estates Ltd outline a thee storey apartment block to be built, described as a "homage to the traditional buildings found on the street" on the land at Beverley on Vyner Road South, in Noctorum. The building is "designed to harmonise with the surrounding properties", according to a design and access statement submitted.
According to plans, the block would contain five apartments. There would also be associated car parking, landscaping, external storage sheds, and a waste store, a new vehicular crossing and parking spaces for five vehicles.

Each space will also have an electric vehicle charging point. Part of the front wall and an existing gate post would be demolished in order to widen vehicular access with electric security gates. The car park will be bounded by low hedging.
The design and access statement prepared by Shack Architecture Ltd reads: "The scheme presented in this planning application is a result of careful planning and detailed pre-application discussions with Wirral BC.
"Additionally the lime mortar and Flemish bond to the brickwork provides a traditional element that pays homage to the traditional buildings found on the street. The scale and massing of the building have been carefully designed to integrate with the street scene and in particular with its immediate neighbours.
"The site layout has been carefully designed to take into consideration the orientation of the plot and the location of the surrounding buildings. We believe that this scheme creates a good piece of architecture that fits into its context well.
"We believe that this scheme is worthy of support and would ask that consideration be given to approving this project."
The plans will be on consultation until April 28. You can view the application here.
