Elite wide receiver recruit Phillip Wright has committed to the Michigan Wolverines over the Georgia Bulldogs and LSU Tigers.
The 5-foot-11, 160-pound wide receiver recruit is a member of the class of 2025 and has outstanding speed. Wright is Michigan’s 16th commitment in the class of 2025. The Wolverines have the No. 11 recruiting class in the nation.
The Georgia Bulldogs already have commitments from four wide receivers in the class of 2025, so it would have been a bit of a surprise for Georgia to land the elite receiver prospect.
Wright is ranked as a three-star recruit and plays high school football for Destrehan High School in Destrehan, Louisiana. The speedy wide receiver was projected to commit to the Michigan Wolverines, per 247Sports.
The Destrehan standout is ranked the No. 541 recruit in the country and the No. 86 wide receiver. Wright is the No. 21 recruit in Louisiana.
The three-star announced his commitment via social media.
