Three members of ScotRail staff were assaulted on a Paisley train as one was left in hospital.
British Transport Police (BTP) say enquiries are ongoing into the incident which happened shortly after 10pm on April 15.
Those attacked were members of the rail firm's 'travel safe team' which is in place to prevent antisocial behaviour and to protect members of the public.

A fourth man also suffered minor injuries as a result of the incident.
It occurred while the train was travelling between Paisley Gilmour Street and Hillington East last month.
A BTP spokesperson said: "Officers received a report of a rail staff assault on board a train between Paisley Gilmour Street and Hillington East stations just after 10pm on April 15.
"Three members of rail staff and a man suffered minor injuries as a result of the assault.
"No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries are ongoing.
"We have increased our high visibility patrols in Scotland following anti-social behaviour on trains."
The 'travel safe team' was only established in October 2021 in a move to keep passengers safe while travelling.
ScotRail told us today that such incidents are "unacceptable" as they continue to work with the authorities to catch those responsible.
Stephen Elliot, ScotRail Security and Crime Manager, said: “The safety of our customers and employees is our number one priority.
“Anti-social behaviour, whether that’s physical violence, verbal abuse or any other form, is completely unacceptable.
“Everyone has the right to go about their day in peace, so we’ll continue to work with the authorities to ensure that anyone responsible for anti-social behaviour is brought to justice.”
