Three people have been arrested following a spate of shoplifting at a supermarket in south Manchester.
Police said shoplifting offences at the Sainsbury's supermarket on Wilmslow Road in Fallowfield have increased recently. Neighbourhood officers launched an operation to tackle the issue.
Eight people in total have been detained and searched, police said. They have also been banned from going into the shop.
