The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) in Lebanon has reported that three of its members were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut in the early hours of Monday. This strike, which occurred near the Cola Bridge, a significant intersection in the city, marks the first time a location within the Lebanese capital's city limits has been targeted in the current conflict.
The PFLP identified the deceased as Mohammed Abed Al-Al, a member of its political bureau and head of the military-security department, Imad Odeh, a member of its military department and military command in Lebanon, and Abdul Rahman Abed Al-Al.
In response to the attack, the PFLP has vowed to persist in its 'path of struggle and resistance' until the occupation is eradicated, regardless of the duration or the magnitude of sacrifices required.
The Israeli military has acknowledged the incident and stated that they are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the airstrike.
