Three people have been taken to hospital following a serious crash on the A1 in Northumberland.
Emergency services were called to a report of a two-vehicle collision on the A1 near Causey Park shortly before 8.40am on Thursday morning.
Northumbria Police, North East Ambulance Service and Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service all attended the scene.

The North East Ambulance Service dispatched seven resources while the Great North Air Ambulance was also called to the collision.
Three patients have been transported to the Royal Victoria Infirmary, for further treatment - one flown by air ambulance and the other two by road.
Police closed the A1 in both directions from around 9am, causing travel chaos in Northumberland throughout the day.
Traffic is being diverted via local routes including the A697 with drivers urged to avoid the area and allow extra time to complete journeys.
The road was closed for around six hours while officers are still at the scene carry out accident investigation work.
The A1 reopened to traffic just after 3pm.
Northumbria Police is now appealing to the public for anyone with information relating to the incident.
Sgt Dave Roberts of the Force’s Motor Patrols Department said: “An investigation has been launched and we are committed to establishing the circumstances surrounding this incident.
“I am now appealing to anybody who was in the area around that time to come forward with any information or dashcam footage, as it may prove crucial in determining the circumstances surrounding the collision."
