Three people have been rushed to hospital following a serious crash which closed a major road.
Emergency crews, including Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service, raced to the A939 near Bridge of Brown in the Cairngorms.
The alarm was raised at around 3pm on Wednesday, June 15 of a serious two-vehicle crash.
The smash involved two motorbikes.
Three people, two men and a woman, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Their conditions are not yet known.
The road between the Dorback junction and the B9136 junction was closed for around five hours while officers carried out enquiries into the incident.
It has since reopened.
