The scene unfolded at the weekend in Cardiff, as witnesses claim they heard a 'massive bang' before people 'came off' the ride. Two patients were taken to University Hospital of Wales after the incident and one was still there as of yesterday afternoon, according to a health and safety watchdog.
A spokesman for the watchdog said: “HSE is investigating reports of serious injuries on a ride at Winter Wonderland in Cardiff. Three people were thrown from the ride.
