Witnesses in Nolan Wells case plagued by menacing phone calls including ‘clock is ticking’ threat

Three people have been charged over disturbing threats made toward witnesses and officials in the investigation into the death of Nolan Wells, an 18-year-old who was found dead after a July Fourth boat trip with friends to an island off Mississippi’s Gulf Coast.

The three suspects do not appear to have any connection to Wells, his family, the group he was with or the investigation itself.
