Canberrans love a pop-up and for the month of September three of Canberra's finest are joining forces to take over Civic Square.

Capital Brewing Co., Ravensworth Wines and Le Cheeserie have partnered with the Canberra Museum and Gallery to bring the Hub.

This Saturday kicks off four weeks of local wines and beer with premium cheeses, and entertainment on featured nights. If you ask nicely enough, you may even discover where the secret games room is.

Meet the makers

Le Cheeserie is still in its first year of operation but it's already made its mark on the hospitality scene.

Running out of the Capital Food Market in Belconnen, they've got a wide range of premium cheeses which will be on show at the Hub.

As well as offering cheese boards and the optional blue cheese cones, there will also be delicious toasted sandwiches - using both Australian and International cheeses along with the best quality ingredients sourced locally - and raclette nights on September 14 and 21.

Capital Brewing Co. needs no introduction. Launching in 2016, with Tom Hertel and Laurence Kain - who grew up in Canberra just one suburb apart - at the helm, always bringing a "good natured" lens to every beer they brew.

Capital always uses fresh, natural ingredients that they source locally wherever possible to minimise the impact on the environment and recently acquired Batlow Cider to continue doing that with a slightly different product.

Ravensworth Wines' 2001 origin story can be attributed to one line: "'It seemed like a good idea at the time".

It has since evolved into a family affair, with husband and wife Bryan and Jocelyn Martin joining forces with David Martin to create a winery that is top of its class.

Earlier this year, Bryan Martin took out A Different Drop's Producer of the Year.

"Bryan Martin is one of the most creative and inquisitive winemakers we've ever met," the award announcement read.

"After leaving his position as winemaker alongside Tim Kirk at Canberra regional flagbearer, Clonakilla, Bryan went full steam in on his own label Ravensworth, which has firmly hit cult status amongst collectors."
