Three Michelin starred chef Massimo Bottura is hosting two one-off feasts right here in London

Hold on to your steering wheel because famed Italian restaurateur and chef Massimo Bottura is cooking up two highly exclusive feasts right here in London to celebrate the release of his new book, Slow Food, Fast Cars, published later this month by Phaidon.

Hosted in collaboration with Resy and his wife and co-author, Lara Gilmore, the lunch and dinner, hosted on the 29th and 30th retrospectively, will see the chef serve up two six-course feasts containing dishes from his restaurant Osteria Francescana accompanied by a wine pairing.

While Bottura is best known for the aforementioned Modena-based restaurant – which holds three-Michelin-stars, has been ranked No.1 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list twice and is currently part of the 50 Best’s Best of the Best list – this book centres around Casa Maria Luigia, the couple’s idyllic hotel and eatery which opened in 2019.

A celebration of the Emilia-Romagna-based guest house and the delicious and innovative outputs of the region (think Parmigiano Reggiano, Ferrari, Maserati), within the book Bottura and Gilmore invite readers to experience a taste of Casa Maria Luigia, as well as the cutting edge art and design that you’ll find within the building as well as passing through it.

Priced at £300 per person, tickets for both events hosted at London’s NoMad hotel go on sale today, here.

Missed out on tickets? Set to be published 19 October, you can pre-order it here.
