Three men have been charged over the armed robbery of former boxing world champion Amir Khan. Ahmed Bana, 25, Nurul Amin, 24, and Dante Campbell, 20, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court today after Khan was robbed at gunpoint for his £72,000 watch in east London in April.
Bana, of Hale Gardens, north London, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule 1 offence. Amin, of Cavendish Road, north London, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery.
Campbell, of Denmark Road, north London, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and possession of an imitation firearm whilst committing a schedule 1 offence, possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, and possession of ammunition for a firearm without certificate.
